actualy whats is your opinion for muting string when sweep??
1 more problem i'm got somethime i'm find my self more struming like sweping but thats probaly becouse i'm not comfortable with that
and 1 more i'm totaly bad with theory but if i'm right actualy those triads can show me the position of basic chords becouse if i'm take the root note and add the folowing 2 note i'm got everythime the basic minor or major chord right
Thanks Dave-Rene
Yeah, you're right about the chords!
Root+triad+5th = basic chord...
Now for muting, that's the hard part.
I use my right hand palm to mute the strings I don't want to hear.
It takes time and patience. You can also use part of your left hands. When you play a note, try to make that finget touch the string next to that note. Just touch it, but don't put any pressure on it. You just want to mute that.
It takes a while to "train" your fingers to do, but it pays off!
