Right Hand Workout, Macus Siepen |

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Here's my take:
Original lesson here Gibson Les Paul Studio Pod Farm Little thingy, I made a nice take and them my camera failed.... so this is that good take, but not with the same footage. I gues you won't even notice the difference I need some advice on my right hand if possible, ain't it to tensed up? Playing form the elbow instead of the wrist? I only have this on the low E string... help pls Thanks Marcus for the cool lesson! This post has been edited by skennington: Sep 27 2010, 02:57 PM |

I agree with the previous post here.
I need some advice on my right hand if possible, ain't it to tensed up? Playing form the elbow instead of the wrist? I only have this on the low E string... help pls My suggestion is to use your wrist a little more instead of the elbow. Otherwise you can be very tired after playing for awhile with the elbow. But it's just my opinion. -------------------- ::: Main Gear ::: Guitars: Washburn N4 Vintage | Washburn N2 | Washburn WI67Pro | Washburn WG-587 | Washburn EA20B Amps: Laney GH50L (head) | Laney GS410 & GS212IE (cabinets) | Rocktron PROGAP Ultra (rack preamp) | Rocktron Velocity 150 (power amp) | Marshall VS230 (combo) FXs: Rocktron Intellifex + custom pedalboard (check my video demo) Other: Shredneck | Intellitouch PT10 tuner Picks: Esseti Picks Software & Recording Gear: Cubase 4 | Overloud TH1 | Mackie Onyx 400F | EZdrummer | Korg Pandora PX4D ------------------------------------------------------- myspace.com/jerryarcidiacono Check out my video lessons and instructor board! |

I think it's OK. playing can be more tighter, but hand should be more relaxed. Also, I noticed that you play mostly from the elbow, try to play more from the wrist, your hand will be more relaxed that way. You need to play this on slow tempo to get it relaxed tho. Rhythm is very good, except that minor mistake.
