Your First Power Chords, Lesson By Gabriel Leopardi |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Bro, you are a rocker!! 😎
Very cool to see that you have the technique to pull this off, you should soon be able to tackle a variety of different lessons on the site! The big thing here as Monica said, is to play this tight. You need to convey you are in control of this piece. Currently it sounds more like you are rushing to catch up, and many of your notes are slightly ahead of the beat. So if my 'rock away' advice was important in your Ballad take - then it's your holy bible here! Of course, first things first - make sure you can play this in your sleep first. Then, when you are ready for it - record yourself rocking away and try not to think too much. It is still up to you if you want to polish this one or move on - you get a solid 7 from me for this entry level lesson! |
