Hey guys! Today is holiday in Argentina because a day like today, our official flag was created, so today is Argentinian Flag day. This gave me the idea of asking you what do you like to do when you have one free day?

my old power metal band playing the national anthem: biggrin.gif

Free day... tongue.gif you know, I haven't really had a free day in a long time. But somehow, I don't really regard the idea of having a free day like being something so special - I feel like I am on a constant pursuit for building up things for myself, so it doesn't really feel like I am working in that nasty kind of way - you know, sitting at your desk all day long, then going home and having nothing to aspire to.

For me, GMC, my bands and my other projects which don't involve music are a way of self development which is almost never bringing anything but satisfaction.

I do recognize that, sometimes I feel a bit tired and need to relax, but if I take the breaks at the right time, I'm back again in good shape.

How does it work for you guys?

Cosmin

I am having free days since June 1 laugh.gif So, normal thing for me now. tongue.gif

I pretty much hang out at GMC, play guitar and some video games and watch Dragon Ball Z biggrin.gif

And everyday is exciting. Sometimes I do get bored if no one's there at Chat coz I go there when my fingers hurt.

Same here ! smile.gif

Although sometimes it's nice to just kill people on computer games.. smile.gif

Or read.. although most of the books I've read lately have been violent crime fiction..

I'm not right in the head...

This is something that happens to me since I was at high school. I remember going back home very fast to have lunch and start practicing guitar...

Nice national anthem playing, sounds weak though on youtube. Youtube was never very good sound quality to start with, however this one is only coming though my center front speaker on a surround sound setup. Still great guitar playing and the singing isn't bad either though I don't understand a word of it. smile.gif

In my summer holidays I would always be out and about, mostly hanging with friends. Swimming, surfing, skate park, beachs, even free running and just muck around stuff. Watch a movie in the cinemas, go ice skating, rock climbing, indoor snow planet, or the arcade some days. The rest of the time or more in winter (which is summer with some rain) play a lot of online gaming, guitar, amd watch tv, etc.

I will always keep myself busy and entertained, I hate sleeping in and lazying around, lol, something wrong with me. Still wake up at 7am on the dot (as if I needed to go to school) but probably jump on the computer instead. Stay up late till say 3am and still I wake at 7am on the dot! On top of that I squeeze in a part-time job and some sports/hobbies, such as karate and basketball.

By that time my holiday is over in a flash... and I have to wait till the next one. sad.gif

I remember the holidays when I was little and the guitar wasn't present in my life just yet tongue.gif I was spending my summer vacation over at the mountain house and aside from exploring the nature, woods, cliffs and such, I used to build stuff!

I once made a raft out of wood and empty plastic bottles biggrin.gif it never made it to the river though laugh.gif

This console is vintage for me wink.gif

In my childhood, I had this thing, we just called, Video game laugh.gif I still don't know what its exact name is. It had a bunch of game, maybe 101 or so.... biggrin.gif I got it on my second birthday and it survived for a whopping 8 years biggrin.gif
I loved playing Mario, Battle Tanks and a bunch of few others back then smile.gif

If it's only a single day - usually go to the playeta (inland beach and lake up in the mountains) if it's the Summer.

My daughter started her Summer vacation yesterday and is now off school until late September. That's quite a lot of time to fill and I can't justify shutting the studio for that length of time. We visit family and friends in the UK most years, usually for about 2 weeks. Otherwise we break up the Summer in to long weekends on the coast and day trips out. We also have friends who come visit us for quite a bit of the Summer.
