...Yesterday I bought some bed sheets for my new house, paid with a 50£ bill, received two 20£ bills and some change. Went to mcdonalds to eat, used one of those 20£ bills, they had some special markers, 5 seconds later, they tell me one of the bills is fake and they were gonna call the police.

Good: Problem was solved and I wasn't arrested.
Bad: Lost 20£ that, at the moment, do cost alot for me.

Vent.

Yeah, it's not that bad, but the problem is I still don't have a bank account and i have to keep track of my expenses since my parents can only transfer money after a while

that happened to me when i was 15 years old


my daddy gave me a $5 bill to go buy pizza for lunch...i was so excited....


when i went to pay the lunch lady...she looks at me...then calls the police...

apparently my dad got that fake dollar from our local gym...i was free to go annnddddd


at least i got to miss class that day smile.gif

Unlucky mate, in fact a lot of places are suspicious of fifty pound notes because they are the highest denomination bill in the uk so a lot of places check those, not usually twenty's though!
