...I heard something interesting!! I heard the exact lick that Steve Vai does in Building the Church - or perhaps my ears deceive me. Have you guys noticed this? I was wondering your thoughts. This is apparently something Vai created. And this video speaks of that, but...
First here is Steve Vai. It's the intro I am speaking of. Now here is Andy James. It's around 1:52. It's a really short phrase. I just found this cool and interesting. So many licks and riffs and solos have been played, I don't believe these guys steal intentional like that. It's a coincidence IMO
