Practicing Neoclassical Etude by Laszlo Boross, Warrior in Battle by Thiago Trinsi, and Paul Gilbert Riff and Shred by Ben Higgins. I think there is a typo on Neoclassical Etude not to be rude. Major triads instead diminished. The lesson looks rather old but I enjoy it!

Hi Laurent, I was preparing to say a lot of things about the video, that then I found improved on the audio take which is fantastic! I like how you connected the different phrases, and how you use articulation and silences to make your melodies more expressive. That's exactly the way to go mate, it's very nice to hear improvisation.

Continue experimenting and remember on focusing more on 1 element each time as we talked at the chat-room.

Keep on the good job!

Hi mate, that's a very interesting list of lessons. I would like to hear you playing some of them, is it possible?

Do you mean that there is something wrong with the lesson? Which part?

yes, there is some fingers movement in your right hand that I wouldn't recommend. It doesn't have effect at this speed but it can be a limiter if you decide to play faster licks. It's better to start the movement from your wrist when you are playing alternate picking.

Do you usually play like that?

you mean about position or you mean the way i play , like the impro ?

about the hand movement, i have hardly manage to use up and down systematicaly and mute the other string aith the fingers like i do now.

now i try to use the movement from the arm..... one step at once smile.gif

I mean the right hand movement. It should start from your wrist and a bit from your elbow. We try to avoid finger movements since it's not effective. Does it make sense?

yes , i'll manage myself to do in this way.

now i have kill my bad hand's position and picking method, now i work on this way !!

edit: in my previous impro , a parts is played with finger, cause i think have better feeling with the string , but less dynamics

For sure! Part 3 in Neoclassical Etude. Thiago's lessons have alot of delay sounds. I get a nice setup and go back to Thiago's lessons. Paul Gilbert Riff and Shred my guitar let's out a not so good pinch harmonic maybe I play whammy over it.

Hi TJ! this is on the right track, your left hand looks good, and also your right hand movement. Just try to make the right hand movement smaller when you play the higher string trill. Economize the movements...

PS: The lesson is fixed now, thanks for notifying!

Maybe the lead guitar, over the parts where these ones play only chords... what do you think?

T'as bien bossé Laurent

Le son de ta basse est vraiment bon, la ligne est nickel.
Le mixage des piste est harmonieux, t'as bien géré.
C'est vrai que poser une voix donnerai de l'ampleur a ta compo.

Chapeau

Excellent work Laurent

The sound of your bass is really good, it's a beautiful line.
The mix of track is smooth , you have done things .
A voice will give momentum to your composition.

Good Job wink.gif
