Just out of curiosity, what are the differences between these two Ibanez tremolo bridges?
Which one is better, if any?

I know they're new, so most likely none of you have tried them yet, but I haven't been able to find any specific data. To me they look pretty much the same smile.gif

The EZ uses knife edges, whereas the ZR uses ball bearings.

Oki I get it smile.gif

But what difference does it make in sound, playability etc.? The knife edges can get dull over time and need replacement?

It's not a knife in that sense, it's a knife edge acting as a fulcrum (going into a notch).
