Now if you check the video carefully it's plain to see that he's using a very rare 1943 silver spoon custom made by the famous spoon luthier, Easterbunny. A modern spoon just won't give you the quality of tone that you get from that spoon. Even the 1945 version - when they introduced mass production - isn't as good. Just check out the reviews on Harmony.
Easterbunny now make a Custom Shop version by special order and there's also a cheaper version made by their sister company Toothfairy. Some claim you can't tell the two apart but trust me - you can. Also don't confuse this spoon with the Japanese ShredSpoon which has a much thinner handle that lets you shovel food into your mouth at lightning speed. I have it on very good authority that a 1943 unplayed spoon still in it's original box was sold at auction for 400,000USD recently to someone called Mr. U Geller. So get to know your spoons guys .
