Hey Paddy Irvine, that sounded great.
Somehow it reminded me on The Eagles and this is definitely a compliment. |

Great job man, sounds really cool and has as great vibe to it!
I would advice 2 things: 1. intro should have better drum pattern (or take out drums completely and insert some acoustic guitar arpeggiated licks) 2. after intro there is a main theme chord progression that has a 4 bar block loop. In the 4th bar there are some intervals that are not good together. Try to match the chord better on the guitar tracks. -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE

I did notice that, Would you have a suggestion for a different chord that would play over Gmajor? I wouldn't advise having two chords on top of each other. If you wanna put two guitar instruments to play harmony over one part of the song in the same time, I would advise you to try to keep it simple for starters and play G major chord on both instruments - but in different positions on the neck. For example: electric guitar - G major (C major shape on the 7th fret) acoustic gutiar - G major (open G major chord) by doing this way, you will distinguish both instruments and put them in different sound spectrum ranges. PS this is no rule or anything, just an example. You gotta play with several combinations until you find the right one. let me know if I can help you with anything more mate, cheers -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
