From what I can Guess your just tapping the string, you have to tap the string then flick your wrist away from the neck. Sooner or later it will become one fluid motion. This should at least double the loudness of your tapping.

I suggest doing upward motions with your right hand when tapping. Try that.

whenever i do a hammeron to a pull off i always add a downwards motion with my right hand. rather than coming straight of the string ( perpendicular to the fretboard) i come off the string towards the floor ( ish towards the floor.. not exactly down) this way you get a more powerful pull and it sounds louder and more clear smile.gif

also, if you're not already, make sure to mute ALL the other strings. it will clean up the sound, which in turn, will boost the volume of any tapping that you're doing already.

with your right hand, dampen all the strings that you aren't playing. try playing this on the E string:

E-------2h5h9p5p2-----

mute the B, G, D, A and E with your right hand. hopefully that should help clean up your sound.
