Expanding The Basic 12 Bar Blues, Lesson By John Hatcher |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: Expanding The Basic 12 Bar Blues by John Hatcher
Here it goes my first take on this lesson. I've been working on it for a couple of weeks and it's been a lot of fun. I'll probably keep practicing it just for pleasure :) |

Hi Nether! This lesson is a very good choice for working on groove. It seems to be simple but it's not easy to play it with the correct groove and feel. As the other guys said, there are some sections that must be adjusted to sound better, tighter and groovy.
Work on sections as loops until you are 100% comfortable with the different parts and then record a new take for the REC. Keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons
