Hello Gary.
The reason why I played G#m arpeggio without pinky perhaps has nothing to do with pinky actually. I wanted to keep same finger on high E string for both arpeggios, the middle finger. At that moment maybe I found it easier to keep middle finger on high E for both G#m and D#m arpeggios but that is NOT a rule. If you feel more natural to use pinky, ring and index for G#m then go ahead, why not! And in video 4 I'm playing C#m arpeggio with same pattern but I used pinky. So as I said it has nothing to do with pinky but with things that we have before or after certain arpeggio. And answer to your question is to play whatever feels natural to you, if you want it with pinky, ring and index than that's the one, no doubt. -------------------- Youtube
