Thanks for the reply. Checking it out now. I'm not opposed to spending more. It would just mean waiting a bit longer. Any suggestions on decent tube amps without breaking the bank? vyper is cool and would be a good choice but here are my recommendations for $550 I have a real tube amp. ORANGE TINY TERROR. it's amazing. three knobs but im telling you it will not disappoint. It's a humble 15 watt but that's 80% the volume of a 30 watt tube amp just so you know. It takes pedals well so you could set it for medium gain, use your volume knob to clean it up, and grab a nice ibanez tubescreamer or anything nice really to push it over the top. But you'd need a cab if you got the head. combos still great though. send me a msg and ill tell you more http://orangeamps.com/products.asp?Action=List&Cat=7 OR id also recommend looking at a multi effects processor like these. They have MANY amp models and effects and the best thing is that you will never be bored again. it seems uncool not having an amps but man, they are soooo fun. really user friendly http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...edal?sku=151304 http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...edal?sku=155502 http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product...edal?sku=150212 -------------------- Gibson SG-3 Faded Epiphone Thunderbird Ovation CC48 Vox AD30VT Vintage U.S. Peavey Microbass Orange Tiny Terror w/ 212 Cabinet Creativity |
