Well, its the start of an instrumental track for this little compition that I thougt it would be fun to enter. All for fun anyways.. Not hoping to win.

This is all demo stuff, obviously, going to record much cleaner on the final take and change some things around probably. But any advice would be helpful.. In the structure or melody of the song or whatever.

I think it sounds pretty cool tj smile.gif . Like you said though it just needs to be cleaned up and that will give it a more solid flow to your phrasing. What key are you playing in (E major)? I like that backing track. I was going to maybe play with it this weekend.

Nice job!

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Thanks..

Yeah, I'm going to change around a bunch of parts but. My timing was messed up a bit.

It's in e minor, the solo goes into C# minor.. Which I didn't record.

I think I'm going to re-record tonight. And try and get the rest of the basics done.

Chords are : Emin7 D C Amin Bmin.

Pretty simple progression.
