Kris (or anyone else who can help me LOL)

It's me again! I know I must be annoying but hey, you have to ask questions to get better!
Here's the problem:

Thanks to the great advice of all the guys I got a riff. Now I also learned a new scale from my teacher but it is my ONLY scale. I need to be able to write an EXTREMELY long solo off of it. I just never know when to switch chords or just simply put, how to build a solo off a scale. Can anyone tell me how to do this? thanks

Outgunned. Watching the force come to a firefight with a pocket knife.
Getting schooled until they shot Achilles' heel and brought down the beast."
