I thought he said he'd already bought reaper? So he probably wants the stuff he's paid for to work rather than give up on it I'm guessing? From what I read, it seems the ASIO drivers may be causing the issue. In which case, the easy thing would be just to uninstall the ASIO drivers right? As far as I understand he owns a DAW (was working well with guitarrig) but problems with amplitube. Amplitube is a demo so what I meant was since he didn't buy amplitube yet maybe it would simply be easier to try something else. Hi, I dont use GMC and Youtube at the same time. Lets say I'll start Amlitube in Reaper and wants to play along with a lesson here in GMC or Youtube. When I start youtube and select clip to play along with the browser just crashes. Im at work for the moment, but I'll try to reinstall or uninstall ASIO later. But I thought I need ASIO installed, otherwise I'll encounter latency problems? Yeah you'll need asio for the best performance from your soundcard. If you get certain that its the asio driver thats causing these problems, also download and install this asio driver; http://www.asio4all.org You don't have to uninstall your focusrites asio to try it, just go to reaper and select asio4all from preferences. |

My bad I misunderstood. If the guitar sim is just a demo, you are spot on, just try a different one is an easy quick way to fix it. Good idea.
I suggested he uninstall the drivers as the drivers for the scarlett are quite good and are designed just for that device. They are designed to have as little latency as a computer will allow. If the asio are causing issues, then do try the ones mertay suggested. If you still have issues, dump them and install the drivers specific to your scarlett. all system audio should be able to go through the scarllet while the daw is using it. It certainly shouldn't crash. QUICK THING TO TRY:: Go do the adobe web site and download the newest version of the flash player. Also, update your browser to the latest version. It could be something as simple as needed a software update. Todd As far as I understand he owns a DAW (was working well with guitarrig) but problems with amplitube.
