Incredibly useful! I hate cables a lot, even if they are a necessary evil and I always look for methods to keep them in order as well as possible! Thanks for sharing mate!

Excellent, thanks for sharing ! I get so annoyed with my weird cables that tangle themselves up whilst I'm playing.

This method looks very efficient. I got used to coiling cables but they were always a bit rotated....had to try this out smile.gif

I see so many people that just shove their lead into their bag... makes me cringe everytime. Taking 15 seconds everytime to roll the lead up correctly will make it last so much longer.

I've seen a lot of videos on coiling cables and keeping them out of the way and stuff. Most of the guitarists I meet today are like "Tone? Its just a cable man!", but they don't realize how much it can cost their tone if they don't take care of their cables.

A thing I tell every guitarist who doesn't do it, but is extremely necessary is when you are playing live, you need to pass the cable first through your guitar neck and then into the guitar's output jack, so that it doesn't come in front of you and you accidentally step on it and find yourself in a very embarrassing situation when your cable come out of the guitar jack wink.gif

This is a good photo showing how everyone who plays live does it:

Just stating the obvious for someone who doesn't already do it wink.gif

laugh.gif Same here! I guess I must pace around in circles while I play rolleyes.gif
When coiling long cable such as mic cables, especially when there is alot of them to pack together , I like to make long coils , and then tie the coil into an overhand knot so they don't get tangled together with other cables.
