What equipment or software are the instructors using to create the instruments in the back tracks? It's usually keyboard, bass and drums.

I use all you said plus guitar of course smile.gif

My software is Sonar 7.0 producer edition. I plug my guitar into a little M-box tube preamp and from there into my EMU 0404 soundcard. For other instruments I am using midi samples. This depends on the lesson style what samples I am going to use. I have tons of virtual instruments, plugins and sounds that I can chose from.

VSTI's for the most part I would suspect and the plug ins will vary among them. I'm sure they will chime in and let you know what they use... smile.gif And btw, welcome to GMC!
