BB King Style 8 Bar Blues, Lesson By Ivan Milenkovic |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi friend!
This is a good take. You can play all the licks at tempo and with precision. However, there is something very important lacking, and even more considering that this is a BB king style lesson. You have to improve the feeling of this take, you need to make your vibrato technique stronger, and more consistent, your bending more precise (sometime you don't reach the correct pitch) and improve the dynamics of your take. This means that you should continue practicing this lesson but putting all your effort on improving those three things that will make your take sound more connected to blues style. A good method to work on these feeling and expression techniques is playing the lesson over the original take, trying to emulate the instructor's vibrato, bending's pitches and dynamics. So please try it. Keep on the good job! -------------------- My lessons
