No problem at all Andrew smile.gif I hope you don't mind us spying on the instructor board tongue.gif

To me it seems best if the groups have a talk with each other how they are going to share duties and how they are going to represent themselves.

I have sung the first verse in very clean to death metal growl and everything in between and my harsh vocals fit the best. And I'm not sure about the vocals of Caelum and how the two would harmonize together. So I will ask Caelum here and now to have a talk about how the two of us can succesfully represent ourselves on the song.

I believe that everyone in each group should try this.

J

As this will be the first collab I will take part, I ask you to be kind! tongue.gif

My toneport did not arrive (the store send Jul 13... I am becoming a bit worried), but I have a mic and webcam... in the worst case, I can record this way (probably will not sound as good as it should, but I guess it should be ok)

So, now we must wait skennington slice the music and assign to each one?
Record clean guitar? or we can record using effects?

Thanks
Xicoria

I agree J,

Once I/we get the parts laid out, then we can work on making them harmonize. I'll get an "uploads" thread opened soon so we can agree on what tone we are after for each part. smile.gif

Just wondering, for the solos is there going to be a big solo section, or a solo or two after a verse and then the next or something similar?

If it's necesary I can help with vocals, but only if needed tongue.gif just check the upload board and members only board to here some vocals from me laugh.gif

So we're going to seperate it? good idea tongue.gif I can try for a video and I don't realy mind what part I get. It would be cool to have like intro or outro, but just because then I know when I play tongue.gif I don't think I care about verse or chorus, I can play the main riff easily.

EDIT: little solo would be doable as well

Sorry for all these details, i just thought it might help you with the planning wink.gif just pick out what you like

Working that out Enu, thinking a solo after the first 2 verses and then all out at the end...

Didn't ask if it was in G, asked if it was a G wink.gif But I hear there's a lower E also. Cannot reach the G in the chorus, will go for the E only then ohmy.gif

I can provide video...

...you'll have to tell me whether its supposed to be of serious guitar playing or of just running around looking like a crazy person...
