New Single-coil Advice..., Stan Hinesley, Muuuuuuris!!! :)

I'm now looking for a more vintage strat-sound, and are therefor replacing two of those pickups. I'm planning on keeping the HeavyBlues pickup as bridge, and MAYBE get some Stan Hinesley pickups. What pickups will fit the best? I'm looking for the Hendrix, Clapton, Eric Johnson strat-sound. Any advice? The Protrack and Fasttrack pickups creates an awesome sound TOGETHER, really glassy and a "touch" of strat, but obviously waaay too hot. separately they are humbucking coils, so.... Got a very good deal on them when I bought the guitar. Let me tell you, then can sing! They do everything from the cleanest clean to some really heavy dirty metal. Now obviously a single coil is never going to have the same metal sound as a humbucker, but with the amount of gain we have available today its much more a matter of preference. I just hope these will go well with the Heavy blues as bridge. Otherwise I have to buy another Stan Hinesley PU as bridge..... You didn't have much choice there anyway, only biggere uhave several vintage pups to choose from, so with pickups it is always down to experimenting and hearing them on your guitar.
