Wiring most be wrong, traditional strat wiring can be found all over the internet, here is a website I always visit for info and supplies.
http://www.stewmac.com/freeinfo/Electronic...ams/i-3192.html You need a soldering gun, to do this it is not hard, you need to remove strings remove the pickguard and check the wiring, tightening the pot is easier, simply pull out the knob you should see a hex nut, just tighten that a little. Hope this helps |

Yeah, probably wiring but it can be broken as well.
In combination with middle pickup, are you sure that bridge pickup is working at all, can hear "bum" if you hit a pole on it? As for the pots,I believe you talking about knob actually, you can't spin the pot few times around,it has wires connected to it so maybe you need just a new knob. -------------------- Youtube

It sounds like it, most strat switches let you see the contacts, so look at the switch. Anyway if it is broken these aren't expensive

I've explored it furter, and the bridge position is dead. I've tried several PU's, but no success, seems like the PU switch right? If you have a multimeter you can measure between the pins to see if ther are alive. I've never error traced it like that but I rather measured to find which pins were active in respectibe position. But if you have a connection diagram you'd see which pins you should measure. -------------------- My bands homepage

Are the contacts on the switch actually soldered properly? Maybe bridge PU contacts desoldered.
