Ran across a 2011 CHINESE BC Rich Gunslinger on Reverb. Been looking for one since I sold my last one years ago. I paid $300 for a scratch and dent model that was brand new. These should be cheap right? more than 10 years old, net popular since the 80s, and it's a Chinese built guitar with crap pickups.

Nope!!!! It's $800!!!!!!

The best part, you can get a brand new Gunslinger for $900!!

What's more, it's an INDO which is a bit better typically than a Chinese build in terms of quality imho. Not to mention this is a NECK THROUGH BODY build and has Dimarzio pickups .

So what is going on? I've seen used guitars creep up and up, to the point where they are often priced at or above new guitar prices for the same guitar, same model, etc. It looks like new guitars are going for below street price, and used guitars are going just insane.

Any ideas?
