hey!

firstly i would like to say a big hello to every member here and to all the gmc staff.
i found this website around a week ago and was telling my self "join join jesus just join" and in the end i did.
thats my first leap back into the guitar world.

my name is mike and im soon to be 25 yrs old, i live in the united kingdom and after around 3 years of just wanting to learn guitar, have finaly taken the plunge!

the main reason is that i became a father nearly 7 months ago and have been looking for a way to just relax myself and enjoy the time i have to myself when im not being a hectic father.

i convinced myself to buy a new guitar and sure enough i became the proud owner of a kerry king wartribe(not the cheap and nasty version the full on bloody expensive signature) unsure.gif

i spent so much on this monster that i have now set myself the task of living and breathing each of its frets no matter how long and hard i find it to master.

any advice on were i should start and what to try is a real welcome and i love to hear peoples advice and input.
1 thing i would ask first of all is,i have small hands for my age laugh.gif is there anyone else who has tiny hands and has a certain technique in which they find comfortable to use while playing ?

so i guess this is a hello and thank you for any advice and tips and hopefully the start of a journey to becoming a confident guitar player.

best wishes
mike

Just play a lot of stuff high up the fretboard where the frets are closer together wink.gif
