Hi,

I'm hooked playing blues at the moment ( thanks to Mr Walli) and I made a very simple blues backing track.
It got some rhythm guitars and a very simple bass just on repeat but I had much fun improvising over this track,
especially over the different drum fills I have in the track... So if anyone wants to use be my guest.
I don't think when I play, I close my eyes and play the A blues scale up/down .. for practice bends and different
ways to play the scale, so this is for the early beginners.. good luck all! (no, I am not aiming to be an instructor haha)

Import the mp3 to Cubase and set BPM to 80 if you want to have synced delay or whatever!

My take is here:

This was made very quickly, I just used some of the chords David W had in ZZ Top lesson... and jammed with it.
The bass is very simple and the drums are EZDrummer with Vintage kit.
What kind of music have you done? The stuff written down?

I have soo many riffs and stuff recorded and about about 2 notebooks full of tabs of stuff i come up with when practicing.. But i dont have ez drummer and cant figure out how to get bass and drum tracks together... I do have fruity loops, but i get frustrated trying to figure out how to get the drum beats right that i usually just go back to playing guitar... most of my drum beats sound like rap beats when i get done with them...

Yeah i learned davids zz top lesson today too... and i also came up with a couple of riffs when practicing it...

have you seen this lesson on improvising? There is alot of good stuff in there, and i have learned alot from it..

Oh thanks for the link!

You should aim to get Cubase installed, when you have, I can set up a project file so you just open it and
go from there. I can like make a 4 bar drumbeat and you just look at the midi files and you'll get a hang of it!

Oh? This should be in student instructor lessons? Anyone move this?

Ok... But how much does cubase cost? I just googled it and it said its 499.00
I cant swing that for awhile, or is there a cheaper version?
