> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Very cool, I like it. You really stab out those notes on that main riff ! Nice pinch harmonics and the tone works too cool.gif

You have a tendency to play slightly in front of the beat which is mainly noticeable on the main riff, not so much elsewhere. Just a tiny detail but one you may choose to tighten up.

The descending lick at 0:40, Just too early by an 8th note. Just delay it by one count of an 8th note and then start the lick and you'll have it.

Nice work - welcome ! smile.gif

Hey mate! I think that aside from what Ben said - suggestions which I agree with - your take is a strong one! Congrats and focus a bit on the advices he gave for a perfect recording wink.gif I also think your tone is very good!

Nice take! Your tone is good, and I can note that you pick the chords and riffs with enough strength to make it sound good! I agree with Ben comments about your timing, I note that problem in the whole take, it's not something very problematic and it appears here and there along the recording. So concentrate a bit more on timing! wink.gif
