I sure do biggrin.gif

They're definetly one of my favourite bands, and Steven Wilson is a huge inspiration. The man's a genious. (Except, he must be an alien, since he's not only a genious, but he looks like he's 25 or something even though he's 40!). His guitar playing is really awesome, definetly a top 5 guitarist for me.

Oh yes, I love Porcupine Tree!

I love Steven Wilson's style of making music, he creates cool layers and sound textures and incorporates them with metal music, a lot like my favourite band Opeth smile.gif

Started listening to them in University a few years ago. I really enjoy their work, if i want to just sit and chill - on comes the PT.

Once i'm a little better i'll start attempting to learn some of their stuff!

In absentia is great, but I feel that I don't like all songs that well (at least not the creator has a mastertape tongue.gif ), and that's basically what keeps it from being my favourite album with them. My favourite would be stupid dream, I just love the atmosphere rolleyes.gif

That song (creator..) is actually one of my favourites of that album. wink.gif

The album Fear of a Blank Planet is played most on my stereo though, probably because I got to know them through that one.

Any PT/SW fans would do well to buy the DVD "Arriving Somewhere" which is most excellent.
