It sounds like something I've been looking for to really get into theory. I've considered guitar lessons to help mainly on my theory. Yeah you get course materials to look through and exercises and workbooks and then you do the exam to make sure you understand it correctly and can therefore use it to help yourself. Read through it 3 times to make sure I hadn;t made silly mistakes and left after 40 minutes. We had 1 hour and 30 minutes tops I should have a distinction with ease and I don't think I should lose a mark. Bring on Grade 2. Also Matt, is the enteronline section of ABRSM down at the minute because I can't log in to enter into Grade 1 Practical and Grade 2 Music Theory for April.
