This is a sort of rock song I wrote last night after listening to "may tarde" (is that how you spell it) by cirse (great song). I can't sing well and don't have a good mic so i'v recorded my idea for the vocals as a lead guitar (its a bit dodgy cos i was sort of sight reading it when I recorded it). Cos i didn't really practice this much after i wrote it the playing isnt very good but i want to know what people think of the song.

Cheers smile.gif

I've uploaded a 2nd recording of the song which i think is quite a lot better. Chorus leads still not too good but it's a lot better than it was.

Hey Matt,

I like song... put some time into it and built it out. It's not to me to say this... cause I somethimes got the same problem... you need to play the solo more flowing on the rest.
I've got some troubles with it somethimes... I really need to focus on that one. Perhaps If you'll fix that it will sound a lot better.

Great work Matt

Thanks for the feedback guys. I really agree with you on that cos the rhtyhm guitar part is quite easy but i never practiced it apart from recording it so it was a bit off. Problem with the vocal tune is i thought it would be easy to sight read but it wasn't, and so i just learnt it very quickly and played it badly. rolleyes.gif
I'll try recording it later today and see if i can get it a bit better.

Thanks
