He Who Marks The Fall Of The Gods

Part 2: Fate Not Chosen

~The River Man’s Call~
So a child of the river drifts upon me this night
His head upon It marked something I was terrified to see
A bow of fire with an arrow of gold for the mark of war
And a moon for the sign of forbidden art and creativity
I cradle him up from the river and gaze down to his eyes
On the left formed a Sun, And the right a burning star
The eyes of Izanagi, The eyes of a god
Gazed back deep into me

I heard the quake,The percussive deadly march
Of an army dancing to the beat of the cursed god in the sky
With every step they grew closer, each one beating with my heart
But I held my ground, held my sword, Did I...
Beneath falling waters I hid under natures river veil
The anger grew, The warrior in me calling for a fight
As they scorched and tore, my home and town to pieces
I prayed to whatever good god was left, that they protect this child so divine

~Animus~
Grass creased with the footsteps of soldiers
Tell stories of the grotesque art of war
Houses burnt to there foundations
Speak words that cannot be seen or heard
Roads assaulted with the bodies of innocence
Show the way where hell treads its bloody path
And the mushroom clouds dotting the horizon
Are like the monolithic spires of time recently past

Animus, Was the name given to me
And with it a fate, I wished to have never received
Though the choice is not mine to make
I will never stray from this path of war
For remembrance of my mother, I will not forsake
This god of law, A god of treason
Under my true fathers guidance
Will I sway this blade
To one day, exact revenge for your divine unreason

Ok So I trashed like half the song when i realized it was too suck, So im left with this here, Until I get further into this story without getting too off course. The first part takes place right after the first song, When the baby drifts upon a town and a river man discovers him, Not long after he discovers him, the army that chased and killed the child's mother, starts to attack this river mans town and killing everyone to find this child, But the river man hides himself and the child behind a waterfall, until they pass.

Second part is when the child is grown up, and is given the name Animus, which in Latin means courage, vivacity, bravery, will, spirit, soul, Character, intellect, memory, consciousness (a lot of things). And he basically comes across a village that has been ravaged by this god once again, and its describes what he sees and everything.

There was too much not to understand with the other version of this before you made the edit that made it highly difficult for the reader to read.
