If you start to practice intensively and didn't practice before, or push it too hard, muscle configuration changes and you must fine tune guitar muscle memory again.

That's because you overdo it, lol, quite obvious I never had the problem, not even when I was in the army, so I bet you're REALLY overdoing your workout.

I don't have that problem... Maybe its because you lift really heavy... try to work 3 days and have 1 day pause and always workout like that

You shouldn't be lifting 5 days a week anyway.

Sounds like a stretching issue to me. I am no expert, but I am probably in the same boat as Muris. I should work out more...

hmmm I work out 7 days a week...and my wrists hurt some
but in the end i still have same guitar results |

I've been lifting 4-5 days per week for 20+ years and playing guitar for over 15. No problems here. Maybe over-doing one or the other?
