My friend believes that Van Halen...pfff... started the genre (technically) but I believe possibly Europe has because it has more of a melodic tone to it. If you dont know Europe, their the band that made The Final Countdown. Since I possibly maybe going into the genre, I want to know every little detail about it as possible just for kicks and knowledge.
