Well yeah thats about it. She has an ulcer or something thats been bleeding or something, shes 89 or near that age so it's not really unexpected but if anyone here would pray for her and my family I'd appreciate it.

As far as depression I'm fine, I wasn't REALLY close to her but it might be tough on my mom and I dunno, I just thought I should post it.

Tough times indeed man when one looses a family member. Prayers will be with you and your family. You just have to look at it from a point that she will be in a better place. smile.gif

The passing of anyone that is close to you is always hard. But at 89 you do expect it and it is easier to deal with. I will not say that it will be easy. We are who we are and we all take our own time to mourn.

That said. I wish you the best of luck. And if you need any help, I'll be there for you.

It's always sad when stuff like that happens sad.gif
Both my grandmothers died recently, as well as one of my granddads.
Only one left is my fathers father.

I was pretty close to them, but they were pretty sick at the end so it was better that they died peacefully than having to suffer any longer. Still very sad though..

Hope you're doing alright, best wishes smile.gif

I dont really know how I will take it when my grandma dies. I love her, she did everything to me, we were so close. I hold her dear to my heart since me, my bro, and my sis where her first grand sons/daughter. Shes still well and teaching and everything but I'm just afraid of her leaving and me not being able to tell her how much I love her or even see her for the last time. I live pretty far from my grandma, and hope to see her again in a few years.

I don't think I ever experience someone close to me leaving me. I hate the circle of life, but it has to happen you know.

Sad to hear that man, my thoughts are with you.

I know how you feel, though. I have none grandparents left: Both my grandfathers died before I was born, my fatherside grandmother when I was about 4 or 5 (when I didn't really understand what was going on), and my motherside grandmother when I was 15.

89 years old is a respective age to go on, for your grandmother, though wink.gif

You get all my support and the best wishes for her, you and the rest of your family. Of course it is sad that someone you know might not be with you anymore, but I think JeroenKole is right, when you're that old you understand that it has to happen once and accept it. Your mom does probably understand it too, so she'll make it well I think smile.gif

I feel for you. One of my grandmothers is almost that old (87 I think) and I don't know how I could survive without her. Hoping it'll get better, you'd be in my prayers if I did any.
