Hehehey,
I know I have been nagging about different things soon to come and you haven't seen to much of it yet ("except" for the new forum, lesson feedback, and beginners section)... Since I don't (and can't!) do the programming bit myself things always take a little longer than I would like them to! However, soon we will get a new lesson layout which will allow me to prepare more solo lessons. And this will also drastically improve the ease-of-use of these lessons. If this works smoothly we will hopefully also have a riffs- and licks section. Soon there will be a small field in the summary of every lesson that tells which users currently are practicing that lesson - so that you can directly ask for help from other people that are practcing the lessons. This is a shot in the dark - I don't know if anybody will be using it. However, if it turns out to be popular we also have the possibility (thanks to our beloved ipb forum ) of having chat rooms. I hope we will soon have some guest lessons from other fine guitarists. I have done some serious attempts of getting other guitarists here in Stockholm to come and record in my studio - but for some reason unemployed guitarists in Sweden aren't motivated to come and do recording jobs (and getting payed for their music ???). I suspect it might be a welfare problem (?) - I would never for my life say no to such an offer. However we have another thread which might result in something - Instrumentalcase (Guitars suck guy at this forum) - is going to record his guitar teacher - who seems to be a fantastic guitarist. Rusty Cooley's best student!! Either way I will soon have an offer somewhere on the front page (something like "Pro guitarists wanted for recording jobs"). Let's see what happens. In case you are wondering, the whole idea with this guest lesson thing is of course to provide with more updates more often - as well as giving me the time to work on more advanced lessons etc. Rock on! --Kris PS I am happy we have got the uploads board going - I think it will turn out quite a cool feature - since the feedback and uploads we have got there so far has been really interesting! So thanks to those of you who requested such a board! |
