I was under the impression that all the $400 standard strats are made in Mexico. This one is mexican.

Its a great playing and sounding guitar. I used it for the clean amp demo in my homebrew JCM800 thread. www.jershangout.com/files/uploads/temp/Jer-Clean-Demo1.wav

I forgot to upload the actual pic before leaving for work. I'll get that up here tonight.

The only thing that is putting me off is the HSS setup and the bad current exchange rate. Would you ship to the UK or not or has the guitar not even got a case for protection?

I'll get a guitar box from a local shop to ship it in. Thats what Fender would ship it in.

I don't care where it gets shipped to. But I'd recommend insuring it. It's up to you if shipping it that far is affordable.

Well it costs a lot more in this country. Let me work out how much it is in pounds.

£172 is a great price. Annoyingly it would have been £125 not so long ago and I would have snapped it up straight away. I will have a think about it and get back to you. Need to see how much my amp sells for that is on ebay currently.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to leave this. I made a promise that I wouldn't buy another guitar until I was comfortably in the positive with money. And that'll be at least 3 months down the line.

That's a sweet looking guitar and the price seems pretty reasonable too. Gotta love strats. Good luck with the sale!
By the way your high res pic link isn't working jer, at least it doesn't for me.

Edit: Typo. Someday I'll learn to use the "preview post" feature tongue.gif
