well, as some of you know, I am a big fan of extreme music. but I am also a big fan of Folk music, Celtic countries particularly.
so, in my country, there´s a Maestro, Xandru Reguera, from a traditional Irish group called Na Fianna. their myspace if you want to check them out. http://www.myspace.com/nafianna with many tours on the Emerald Island, a long carrier and three albums among other releases, they are one of the biggest Folk bands here. since Argentina is the second country in America with Irish people it´s not a tiny thing. and the awesome news are: he took me as a student a few weeks ago!!! so, you can imagine how exited I am about it! the first class is gone last week and it was amazing. well, I share with you some videos of the "God" on this style to help you to understand what I am studing. with you: John Doyle! Sounds like a great thing Lian- and nice to see traditional céilí being played outside Ireland . Do NA Fianna gigs also do the dances or just the music?
OT as a Corcaigh lad Na Fianna always makes me think of the GAA team first. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer. Contact me for Audio Mastering Services and Advice and visit our website www.miromastering.com
