It gets better if you like. Here:
If the students have cameras and speakers as well then the instructor could play rhythm guitar for them and they record their own playing along with the output from the instructor's stream with their own camera. The student's playing MUST NOT be streamed back up because of latency! However... as long as you're not streaming it back up, the latency won't matter. You (the student) only need to play along with the instructor's audio feed and recorded on the student's camera. The instructor could even just play a backing track and narrate. -------------------- ::jafomatic

Very interesting thought Jafo. Instructor can indeed play some backing, and student can record something over it. It can be pretty interesting to see something similar in future sessions!

The chat system allows us to record the video and sound for later playback - this could be useful if the instructors are disciplined about reading out the questions as they answer them.
What I don;t yet fully understand is how the playback works - I haven;t looked at that yet, but I presume you just log into the server and set it running - it could be a great facility to have a regular program of repeated videos for those that missed them! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

I was suggesting recorded chat sessions when Kristofer started doing them. I am very happy to hear that members support that idea now

Yeah, if the episodes are recorded, there should be some way to play them after it, some kind of interface, but for now, it's great to have the thing up and running, it's already a major step! -------------------- - Ivan's Video Chat Lesson Notes HERE
