Hey, I haven't been here for a couple of months, but now I'm back, so feel free to post some feedback!

http://ddev.ath.cx/~rile/hmmhmm.mp3 (Half of it is a bit out of sync, had some problems with the recording program, and the quality changes, but I'll post it anyway. Might re-record it sometime)

Both new and old recordings smile.gif

Feelings, I think is a very beautiful and well written song and I really enjoyed listening to it and intend on doing it again if not on a regular bassis!

Untitled I liked and understood it was well written and musically composed correctly although, songs like those with that amount of repetition in them are never very good without a singer or atleast some other instruments. In my mind atleast.

Calm, I thought was almost the exact same as feelings I can tell you clearly applied the same scale and wrote each in the same key here and there. It's a nice song don't get me wrong but I couldn't imagin listening to Feelings and Calm back to back they're just too alike and Feelings definetly takes the cake on which is better!

Riff was nice and has a good use of trills and whole notes with rhythem and lead guitar I really enjoyed listening to it and would love to see an expanded/finished version of that riff I think it has potential.

Yty I personally didn't like to much because at this point of listening to your other material it just doesnt quite compare. Not all of our work can ever be equally good so don't take that the wrong way!

Hmmmhmmm I thought was good and I don't think I can decide what I think of it till I hear a well recorded version because I'd hate to be a little too critical knowing it was probibly the recording device you used.

Last thing I'm gonna say, I promise! Naming songs is the next step for you;) Hmmmhmmm? biggrin.gif

Thank you! I really appreciate your constructive criticism. Yeah, Feelings is my latest composition, and the one I'm most satisfied with. And as you said, I have a bad habit writing songs in the same key, that's something I have to work on.

I'm glad that you liked Riff! I'll definitely try to work on extending it. And hmmhmm will be re-recorded in the nearest future!

Yeah I have to get better with names... I just type something when I finish a recording that I'm not really satisfied with. I started with test, then it became test1, test2, test3 etc. Then I just went crazy on the keyboard, but hey, that's life. As I said, I'll get better wink.gif

Sure I can write a tab for Feelings. I'll go skiing on thursday and will be gone for five days, so I can't guarantee that I'll have time to finish it this week. But I promise to make it soon! I'm not used to writing tabs, so it may take some time... Do you know if there's a tool that makes it easier, or is notepad the best choice?

I got the my inspiration for Feelings when I broke up with my girlfriend last week. Just picked up my guitar and recorded it (sort of). If you wanted to know!

I'll also create a page with an audio streamer so I can upload songs without myspace and without limitations. I'll only put up the ones I'm satisfied with there, I have a few more on my computer.

Oh, and thanks again!

I started to write a tab in notepad yesterday, but it was a real pain... So I'll write it in guitar pro and export it to a text file. I don't have enough knowledge to make a perfect GP tab with tempo and time signatures etc, so if anyone is interested I can upload the GP file for oyu to edit.

I liked this new one quite a bit. Different from most you see posted. I think it may have actually calmed down the cat.

Very cool
