Man. This is a TOUGH one. I'll have a submission in tomorrow but I'm not that confident with this task. I thought the others were out of my comfort zone but this is way out. I did not realize how hard it is for me to keep my two hands coordinated for an extended period of time, which is good I guess because that's why I'm here! Actually, I've learned that the only thing I'm really strong at is tuning the guitar. biggrin.gif

Also, like others have mentioned, the two notes per string is much harder to keep a good flow for me than the 3 notes per string but I'm loving these exercises so keep em coming Master Ben!

Hey that's pretty cool... what show was it for ? smile.gif

It was for an episode of 'Dubplate Drama' although that particular episode was never shown!
sad.gif

Feel free to shrred all over it if you want to!!
biggrin.gif

I'm not going to be able to get a take up for this as I really haven't had enough time this week to work on it. Up to my neck with some coursework for my Sparky's course that has to be done by this weekend!
I have been practicing it though, as well as the last two and am surprising myself at how quickly I am feeling more comfortable with these types of exercises!! Still having difficulty with the last portion of last weeks, but am improving with it!
Have also been working on a Calypso/Ska cover of Crazy Train to perform with a mate at the weekend!!
I might post a version of it if I can record it well enough!!

Hey Ville, thanks for the take ! Not bad at all, although you're slightly rushing ahead of the beat which suggests you've got enough energy to perhaps do this 5 or 10bpm faster wink.gif

Thank you Christian... you've got the pattern sorted pretty well and the hand synch is good. By next week you'll have that at 200bpm won't you ? ph34r.gif

Well, it wasn't quite that it never saw the light of day, it's the story line wasn't voted for.
It was a series of 8 programmes. At the end of the 1st episode there were 4 choices for people to vote on which way they wanted to see the story go. So, by the end of the series there were 21 episodes that were never aired!
I went to see a screening of my episode and the best thing was watching the whole episode, especially the 'Chase Scene' and not even realising that was my music playing as it fitted the action so perfectly!!

Can you make it my middle hand as I need the other two for work, typimg and next weeks task??

Ehh.. Here is my submission. I'm not sure what the bpm is but it is super slow. I'm starting to get the flow a little, I just need another month or so.

On to the next. biggrin.gif

Also very good Greg !! Nice tone smile.gif

I noticed one slight thing with both yours and Dream Forge's takes.. you often shortened and kind of miss the last note of each pattern before you shift to the next shape so try to work on keeping each note for the correct duration and shortening the time it takes to move to another shape smile.gif

Thanks Ben!

I also noticed I have a little bit of a slide thing going on in the quick descending part and especially on the ascending part on the low strings at the end. I need to slow it back down and work on getting the position changes much cleaner.

Problem is my tendons are now currently be ripped by the 4th position in task 4 sooo.. biggrin.gif

Yeah, don't worry... improving little bits in our technique is a lifelong study. I'm currently practising one of my own solos to improve it. I've been playing it for about 6 or so years now and I still think I can do it better ! wink.gif

Your hands will thank you for their new found agility. smile.gif
