> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

I can try and lay down a drum track for ya if you'd like tongue.gif and then send printscreens with the structures so you may understand what's shaking here and there. After that you will be able to write in no time biggrin.gif About the crescendo - the definition you came up with is very accurate wink.gif and it's just what we'll do.

That would be great, if it's not much trouble to you smile.gif. I think I need an example for this first time, and then I can try to do it on my own smile.gif.

Hi Cosmin!

Sorry for very low activity here. This is the exam week in my University, so I don't have that much time for guitar sad.gif. Additionally, I need just a tiny push to complete my bachelor's degree. But the next week is free of anything, so I'm going to be much more active after this Friday smile.gif.

Hi Cosmin!

Really sorry for disappering. Sadly, I was too optimistic with my time sad.gif. Was pretty busy lately, and all my guitar time came down to trying to come up with something for collabs and a little technical exercises to keep my hands in shape. Also I had no inspiration for writing anything, and came up with nothing good during this time sad.gif. But on the bright side, I'm getting my diploma on this Friday! smile.gif I'm starting to feel relieved of this burden biggrin.gif. I'll arrange my thoughts and write something more relevant tomorrow (well, it's actually today biggrin.gif ).

Hi Cosmin!

Yay, I got it! biggrin.gif Now I'm officially BSc of science (in mathematics btw smile.gif ).

Incidentally, I've decided to tune my old LTD which I haven't touched for a year now to drop C. I'm used to playing 9-42 strings in standard tuning, do you think that my choice of 11-52 was right? smile.gif And is it safe to fix the floyd rose with something and take off all strings at once (so that I can clean the neck more easily)? Won't it affect neck curvature or something? smile.gif

Now at last I'll be able to play Metal Metrics lessons (especially my favourite - fourth) smile.gif

Congratulations my friend! I say you are awesome biggrin.gif I'd go for 11 - 54 or even 56 for some tight tone when riffing wink.gif let's see what's shaking about the metal metrics series if ya'd like biggrin.gif

Have you managed to tackle the 4th with success so far?

I haven't started yet actually tongue.gif. I've bought the strings yesterday, but was too tired to do anything smile.gif. I'm going to restring the guitar now and see how it feels smile.gif. So is it ok to take all the old strings off at once and not change them one-by-one? smile.gif

Yes, I never changed them one bu one when I had the floyd used daily. You will be using different tensions so the floyd will be stressed differently - take care to release the springs too when re-calibrating the floyd wink.gif

Phew, took almost 2 hours to restring, readjust and clean it biggrin.gif. One thing I know for sure - I'm not touching that floyd now, the springs are almost fully screwed into the guitar body tongue.gif.

Here are a couple of takes smile.gif. Not completely in time (but I've never been able to play anything completely in time tongue.gif) and lacking a little bit more attitude, but I'm a slow learner when it comes to guitar, so I think it will improve with time smile.gif. And the tone... I simply can't dial in any decent tone, so I always go for preset tones in guitar rig smile.gif. First I found the one used in the first take, but I think the second one sounds closer to what you have in the lesson smile.gif.

Hi Cosmin!

i'm going to do the REC for sure biggrin.gif

I've also decided to try and break this recent inability to write anything by starting a song from scratch. I'd like to keep it simple with the main goal of finishing it smile.gif. So it's going to be some (hopefully) cool pentatonic shred (somehow I'm most confortable in this genre smile.gif ). Of course it's not set in stone and can change later in the song, but the plan is to make it not very complicated smile.gif. I've got a couple of simple riffs for backing, and I'll show them to you when I get home smile.gif.
