Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Really cool take Brandon. I love this lesson smile.gif

Your playing is totally on it... there's not so much note separation as there is in Cosmin's original but then again, this style of down tuned music is very open to interpretation. Some like it ultra tight, some like it more out of control so it's probably a matter of personal taste which I won't mark you down for - 10 cool.gif

There's a little timing slip at 0.34 tongue.gif but due to the fact that otherwise your take is absolutely perfect and the tone is face melting - 10 from me my friend! I also posted your take on the ARIA FB page biggrin.gif and sent it to my bandmates biggrin.gif

Hey Brandon! That's a really good take! It's perfect for me. As Ben said there is a difference with the original regarding the sound that you get. Cosmin mutes a bit more the strings (or maybe uses less drive) so the notes sounds more accentuated and tight with the drums. By the way your playing is excellent. Well done! smile.gif

Great take. You have full control over the instrument! Also, the same objection to the string muting, but this already sounds perfect!
