Hi Limit! I am glad you have decided to join smile.gif
I have a few questions before we will start:

- What recording software do you use? (if any)
- What type of DAW do you have? (if any)
- What are your favorite styles?
- What would you like to learn?* (Record your own music, make backing tracks, record guitar, mix, master, arrange?)
* We will cover all topics but I would like to see what your priorities are! smile.gif
Looking forward to start working with you!

Hi Alex,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work/learn from you. I am a new guitarist and therefore also a newbie to recording. I like all types of music from blues and classic rock to metal core and punk rock. I'm really looking to improve my guitar tone using vst's such as guitar rig and/or amplitube. I currently have the demo versions of both downloaded but haven't experimented with them too much. I have recently started being mentored by Cosmin and have simply been recording my video w/ quicktime and audio w/ amplitube and then syncing the pic and sound with imovie to post to youtube. I guess, right now what I would like to learn is tips and tricks for improving my tone and creating a proper workflow to eventually create my own music. I would be interested in creating drum tracks which is something I have never done.

What I have right now :

Mac Book Pro
E-Mu Tracker Pre - preamp
Demo Version of Guitar Rig and Amplitube
Garage Band

I think that's all for now. Thanks again Alex, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Scott

Awesome! You have very nice equipment to work with!
Can you record a little demo so I can hear your tone? This way it will be much easier for me to help you out! smile.gif
