I have a Deluxe Feder Strat sunburst and I actually like it.
Looking to get a better metal guitar like the Ibanez JEM.

It's transparent crimson red finish.I have tryed alot of other guitar's but have never found one im more comfortable with.I put a sh-6 seymour duncan distortion humbuker in it and it sounds awesome. The only thing that i hate is it's 21 fretts and i play alot of lead and would like 24.

I love almost all my guitars:) My Strat was my very first 1 and i hate it! its much too twangy and its only got 22 frets so thats self explanitory. My jacksons were my first true love. My Js30 is my favorite because of the curves and the jackson head is gorgious it plays well and has a nice sound. I was even more inlove with the Jackson Soloist and its fretboard and bridge. My schecters i love also, Ive got a Damien 7 which is a 7 sting, i was sceptical at first (wider neck) but after a while i really loved the bigger neck and the low string smile.gif, ive finally gotten to play the Schecter Hellcaster C1 and i am getting an avenger very soon which is the same thing with a different body. I know im going to love it because it is going to be my new gigging guitar smile.gif.

So theres my story, love all the guitars that love me back. while my Strat rusts in the corner sad.gif it needs a good home.. anyone want it?

Setup
Gigging - Soloist or Damien 7 soon to be AVENGER!
Backup - Damien 7 or Jackson
Crap - Fender Squire Strat

Gibson Explorer Studio. I doubt I will ever replace it. I'm going to buy new pickups and stuff like that, but never replace the guitar. I love it, I have never played on such a comfortable guitar before. I instantly fell in love with it when I tried, and I bought it smile.gif Then again, I want a Les Paul some day, but I'll probably change my mind about that when I replace the pickups.

What's the weight on that thing? I haven't spent much time playing around with Explorers, but they seem heavier than a Les Paul. Picked up one of the floor models at the local GC and it felt like it was made of cement.

I use a Schecter C-1 Plus. I'm gonna be honest - it's a marvelous guitar. The Duncan Designed neck humbucker provides a great jazzy sound and the bridge (also DD) has a nice crunch to it with a good distortion pedal (bridge hum sounds kinda muddy though in clean, but that's really my only complaint). Plus, the C-1 Plus has a coil switch, allowing me to also get nice bluesy (single coil neck or bridge) or funk (single coil middle position - neck and bridge hum canceling) sounds.

Another nice feature is the thru-neck with 24 frets - nice a versatile.

All in all, it's a great guitar - and it only cost me around $500. It's a perfect guitar for the intermediate guitarist.

My dream guitar would be a Parker Nitefly M with Dimarzio hums on neck and bridge. =]

Lol biggrin.gif:D:D The explorer studio is SO EXTREMELY LIGHT, its like a feather dude. It's just totally sweet, its SOOO light. I can stand for hours without noticing anything. They are a hundred times lighter than any of the guitars I have ever tried. And everyone who pick up my guitar say "omg how light it is".

Btw is it "lite" or "light" or what? >_<

I play a Jackson Rhoads (the one in my avatar) - Absolutely love it, nice thin neck and gorgeous Eerie Dess Swirl finish and floating tremelo biggrin.gif

My first guitar was an Encore. It's an absolute piece of poo lol, the neck slightly warped on it, terrible fret buzz and bad sound, but hey, it was like £50 so I got what i paid for really tongue.gif

Also have a Keiper LP hollowbody - real nice Jazz sound to it and sounds really warm on clean.
Looking to get a Dean at some point, or maybe an Ibanez
