> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

Hey there mate smile.gif

I would suggest the following approach smile.gif I know you are a busy guy and you most probably work a lot, aside from guitar playing - am I right?

If so, a healthy 2hrs30 min or even 3 hrs a day practice schedule, would be ideal!

I would leave aside point 3, for now and focus on points 1,2 and 4

Point 1 - 1 hr - 30 minutes for each as a warm up and trying to get as close as possible to the original speed while staying true to timing, clean playing and interpretation.

Point 2 - pick ONE song and work on it each day till you finish it smile.gif You will get there MUCH faster this way wink.gif

Point 4 - take 30 minutes to try out new things and maybe 30 minutes for recording the stuff you have practiced at points 1 and 2. Maybe even a whole hour for recording if it feels more difficult.

This is how I'd do it smile.gif What do you think?

Cosmin

Hi,Cosmin.

You are right.
I have a very tight schedule.
I even had to range my interests and leave sport.
Because I have really no time.
wink.gif

About my lessons.
I understood.
wink.gif
Thanks a lot.
It is really very important for me.

I figured it out somehow - don't ask me how laugh.gif

But anyway, let's try this idea for a month and see how it goes - deal? If it doesn't feel that awesome, we'll try something else.

Leaving sports as a pro, or not doing sports at all - I think that sport and physical activity are very important mate - they set a very healthy mental and physical state for anyone and this is reflected in their way of life smile.gif

Yes,I agree with you.
I was in a very good form.
Sport was always a very important part of my life.
I spent 2-3 hrs everyday for training more than 10 years.
But now it is impossible.
I sleep only 5-6 hrs a night and my day schedule is very tight.
But I hope in 2-4 months I will return to gym.
Everything is fine.

Haha!

Very nice man smile.gif I think I heard a little imperfection at about 0.27 in 'Hero' - otherwise it sounds really nice!

Wow - the other one is tight as hell! Very nice man! Very very nice - this sort of playing suits you nicely!! And the feedback control!! Good, good good!

I am very happy, mate!

You can do a lot more!

Hey mate biggrin.gif It's slowly growing, out of what I can hear smile.gif Your trouble right now, resides in the position shifts at this particular speed - see second 0:15 for instance. You lose the rhythm there, when you shift! Try to focus on the shifts to make them in good timing, ok?

Hi,Cosmin.
As I promised.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/54sqsnjwu535r40/w...%20dark%203.m4a
But it's not good.
Solo is very dirty.
I think I am not ready for video version yet.(
cool.gif
Today I was going to finish my legato lesson but some things distracted me.
And I did only this:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/gk37gv15jk4mo0a/Legato.m4a

Unfortunately I am not satisfied. I don't like when my plans collapse.
(
I will correct everything this week.

Hey amigo!!

The riffage is very good biggrin.gif I like the punch and tone, but even if the solo is not that tight, I can feel definite progress smile.gif Have a bit more patience with the solo and you will be there!

Patience is the essence wink.gif Don't worry, just keep practicing and you will definitely get there with the legato as well smile.gif It's still a little bit more work with the shifts when changing position. did you try to play it slower and focus on those shifts?
