We've been recording some rehearsals so the band members can hear places to improve their performances. As the old saying goes, "The tape doesn't lie." This is a wonderful tool that saves a lot of discussion and argument. Here is a live rehearsal recording of a song I played many times with the originating band Flamin' Groovies during the years I was a member. This song by Cyril Jordan & Chris Wilson has become one of the most covered non-hit songs ever, a sort of punk anthem. I am posting this here, not because the performance is perfect, but to show how easy it is to spot room for improvement. We have got the basic sound we want but there are many little imperfections to work out.

SHAKE SOME ACTION

I would appreciate your comments, thank you.
