Hello guys

Im going to have my 7 string in G.
I might alternate the 7th string between Ab, G, Gb.

Im thinking of a .72 string
And what about the rest of the guitar?

Im thinking of tuning it: (if in G)

G - D - G - C - F - A - C

Would that be correct?

0.72 sounds pretty decent to me. String gauge depends all on scale length of the guitar and player preference of course smile.gif

From what I understand, it should be (From the thickest string to the thinnest):

G C F A# D# G C

Oh, and this is G Standard, because I assume you wanted G standard and not drop G.

If you want drop G, its:

G D G C E A D

Hey Erik smile.gif I've been doing a little research and for G standard you could go with the Ernie Ball set having 70/56/44/32/22w/16p/12p
