I love the slightly dirty look of the paint.

I'm the worse person to ask about buying a guitar. I almost always say yes. you can always sell it if you don't like it

Well some issues, if they are saying that they are sending as is with those pictures. That bridge pickup is not a dimebucker its a invader in it. With it being a Razorback, depending how new it may have that weird V neck, which the lighting of one of the pictures makes me assume that it is. So I would have to pass just because of the neck myself.

That V NECK thing is a DEAL KILLER for me. My own standard RAZORBACK had a neck that was simply GAWD AWFUL, IMHO. I had to have it reprofiled by a luthier to match a Ibanez Wizard and now it's perfecto!!

Of course, then there was the fact that pickups were GAWD AWFUL as well, so I replaced them with some "boutique" hand made Homewrecker Punishers and topped it off with custom pickup covers and pickup frings from VonHotch and BINGO!!! Instant Killing Machine!!

I don't that you can really say that the V profile is "gawd awful" rather than simply not to your taste... you're obviously a Wizard profile fan, and Dime's guitars erred more towards the Gibson type of neck profile. It certainly worked for him!

Very true wink.gif I was speaking only from my perspective and only as myself in my own voice. I"m not trying to make a universal statement here. You are bang on in that I"m a WIZARD NECK GUY and also spot on in that the V neck certainly worked well DIMEBAG!!! smile.gif I just "Personally" found them "GAWD AWFUL". is all.

So I was really stoked to find a luthier who was willing to sand it down to my taste. It's actually a KILLER neck under all the heft! It's made of BIRDS EYE MAPLE!!! And it's "Unfinished" which I just love. I really wish the fretboard was maple as well but you can't get everything for $275 right?

Todd
