Hia guys! smile.gif

Remember me? tongue.gif I have decided to try releasing weekly videos on my YouTube. I have been off and on a lot lately and I am trying to get back with it. I miss it. I wanted to share an old track with you all. Very few people on earth have heard this. It's an experimental short song I wrote back when trying to find my sound. I didn't want to alter it, but keep its present beauty, but I really enjoy the sound of a Pipa and Erhu in metal context. How about you? I want to do more songs like this - and longer! smile.gif

So here is my latest release last Saturday.

Killer stuff mate! Great to see you back here and with a new production published. The overall quality of your video and composition are very impressive. This will be very inspiring for many beginner players that are recently joining the site since you are an long time GMCer who we could see grow and become that amazing musician that the video shows...

Congratulations.

Liked! smile.gif I felt the musical style potential in there, good job you should really work forward to expand from a demo form to track.

I downloaded the track and quickly analyzed, one small advice is on the mastering stage the corrective eq is cool but lower the 700hz and boost 2khz area just a touch as this style usually has an in-your-face kind of tight sound. I'm looking forward for more video's smile.gif

Thanks sir! I have been studying my favorite YouTubers to see what they are doing in their videos as far as engaging audiences.

Interesting! What main concepts have you gotten from this analysis?

Interesting! What main concepts have you gotten from this analysis?

I will summarize in my own words what I have observed:

1. Talk to your audience, encouraging feedback and conversation. Ask your audience to like, comment and subscribe. Most people don't think about doing it, so it's ok to ask.
2. At the end of the video, let others know about your previous videos you have put out. A lot of YouTubers have put the small video boxes at the end.
3. Be consistent. That's why I am trying to put a video out every weekend. People know to come back.

These are the main things I have learned. I am sure there are more but these are my key takeaways.
