Nice jam mate. I can get the feel. I would use a cleaner tone for this type of licks, maybe just lowering a bit the guitar volume, to have more "fingers" sustain. That's what I enjoy more from Bluesy guitarists.

Very good playing smile.gif I think what Game is suggesting is just using the volume knob on the guitar to back off the distortion a bit. Also, using the neck pickup gives things a bluesier vibe.

Nice playing mate!

One thing I have thought about for some time regarding your sound, is that it has phase issues. I am not sure what the reason could be, perhaps you are summing a stereo sound to mono?

do you mean chorus type effect or phase cancellation? I don't know what the recording setup is, but now I"m curious smile.gif

FZALFA: How are you set up to record?

ok smile.gif So from the 11r, you go out with one guitar cable to the input on the FA66? Or do you use a XLR/Mic cable? Also, the 11r is stereo, so unless you use the left and right outputs to go in to your fa66, you don't get stereo, just half of the signal. This may be causing what kris is talking about. Also, the 11r can connect via USB to your computer and let you use it as your audio card. This way you can record in true stereo with no loss and you can record the dry/uneffected signal to another track in your daw at the same time. So that you can always go back and apply plugins to it or use it clean and mix it in to the other track with fx just to provide some note clarity. It's an old trick, but still works smile.gif You may have seen the thread where spock is adding a clean/no fx amp/cab to his rig. Folks have been doing this for years. It allows very clean pick attack. You can do it with the 11r and your daw without needing any amps wink.gif
